Well,here’s a quick tip for all those mommies who have been spending sleepless nights ever since the birth of their new baby!!
Since my baby #2 is almost a month old now..I guess I’ve learnt a few techniques to put her to bed and peacefully sleep for a few hours at a stretch! 🙂
My DD loves being cuddled up and rocked continuously(of course every baby does…but mine is just too much! As a result I have had a pretty good share of sleepless nights and sore arms! And then by the trail-and-error method…I found her more settled when she’s asleep on her side..Thankfully! 😀
Now I just feed her as much as she can take in..make her burp…rock her to sleep..put her up in her crib..and make sure that her back is well-supported by bolsters or rolled up blankets!! And I’m done!!
I do check if her hands and knees are in proper positions (both infront of her not on her sides) so that she doesn’t roll-over on her tummy..cos you ne’er know with the babies!!
And yes! I keep monitoring her while I’m busy doing my chores!
Helps her sleep for like 2-3 hours at a stretch.!! Which means I get ample amount of time to rest and ofcourse to BLOG!! 😉
