Hope all my readers are in sound health and happiness!! Here I’m back after a pretty long break!! Indeed a PRETTY and a LONG one!! 🙂
And resumed my obsession for re-purposing! 🙂 Hence this teeny tiny project with a shoe box 😀
Yes I know I’ve already done so many posts on re-purposing but then what to do?? I just can’t get enough of it!! :D:D
So here’s what I did with some shoe boxes that I’d which will help in organising my li’l stuff!! Read on for a super-quick tutorial. 🙂
- Cardboard box
- Scissors
- Adhesive
- Scrapbooking/wrapping paper
- Brush
What I did:
Firstly I measured the height and length of the box (Mine was around 7″ each side).
Cut out 3-4 strips of the wrapping/scrapbooking paper according to the size of the box.
These were my 3 strips (three strips where just enough for this box).
I started gluing the paper onto the box. Starting with one side I worked my way so I could cover the whole box leaving the base (outside), which I covered later on. You can always skip the base part since it’s not going to be visible.
Later on I used white sheet to cover the base and sides on inside of the box.
I did the same with the lid.
That’s how it looked! I had another smaller box. And I did exactly the same with it and use it for storing baby-pins, bows etc.
What have you re-purposed lately?? Have any other interesting ideas?? Write ’em down in the comments below I would love to know them! :D:D:D
